I recently saw this infographic about which cities (in the world) have joined the Green Revolution.
After reading through this infographic, I think we are in a pretty scary situation. Cutting 24,318,738,00 tons of CO2 by 2050 is a big order.
If you look around my town, it doesn’t seem that anyone is interested (or even aware) that global warming is a problem. It’s green lawns and high-water non-native trees for as far as the eye can see!

With global carbon dioxide levels at a historic high, something major needs to happen if we are to get anything close to a sustainable use of the planet’s resources. Could a ‘green revolution’ in cities be the solution? Whatever you think about that question, this new infographic provides an interesting view of sustainability in six cities, focusing on New York, Vancouver, Copenhagen, London, Amsterdam and Stockholm. Which city would you expect to come out on top?
